L2017 Matting Agent For Pure Polyester

TGIC system,  provide 12% of gloss

L2017 is less wax content, used for polyester/TGIC powder matting.  The lowest 12% gloss can be obtained with excellent leveling, delicate surface, and good mechanical properties.

Appearance: white to light yellow powder

Volatile content: ≤0.5%

2. Product characteristics

1. Good matting effect, provide lowest 12% of gloss

2. Less wax content based on acrylic resin with excellent leveling, delicate surface and good mechanical properties.

3. Reducing the negative influence effectually from wax.

3.  Use method

Mixed with other materials and extruded.

3%-5.5% by weight of total formula. Gloss decreases along with the increase of dosage accordingly. Lowest gloss can achieve with dosage 5.5%. 10 portion of L2017 will react with 1 portion of TGIC; supplement TGIC according to this ration.

Recommend polyester : Shenjian 4ET, Kinte 3309, Maple 2011, Guanghua 9338

Extruding Temperature @100-110℃,low extruding temperature, fast feeding speed will help to get good matting results.

Lowest gloss can achieve with L2017 dosage 5.5%.

Curing condition:  210° C/15min

4Storage

Store in cool and dry place. Keep away from fire and heat sources。

5Attention

L2017 has selectivity to polyester, please choose appropriate polyester.

The storage stability of L2017 is stable.  Please still pay attention for the finish powder’s storage stability in hot weather; try to consume the finish powder ASAP.
